Garrett McNamara road what is quite possibly the biggest wave ever ridden during a tow in session on Tuesday off the coast of Nazare, a small fishing town 70 miles north of Lisbon, Portugal.
McNamara, who is a big wave rider from Hawaii, was teamed up with Andrew Cotton and Al Mennie. They were out enjoying a tow in session when several rogue waves started to roll in. McNamara took the line and was towed in by Cotton. The video shows the rest.
